What's the Best Way to Go About Treating Aging Skin
If you are like me, you probably get just as frustrated with your aging skin as I do. Up until recently I didn't consider there was much I could do about treating aging skin.
However, I have discovered a natural skin care range that has helped improve my skins condition and texture in only 8 weeks.
Unfortunately, like many aging people I have been taking simvastatin (Zocor) tablets to control my excessive cholesterol condition for many years. To top it off, I also have to take fosinopril sodium (Monoplus) for hypertension - to reduce my blood pressure.
I believe using these substances has contributed to my skin becoming very thin, with the capillaries closer to my skin's surface. You more than likely know what's coming next? - Yes your right... every insignificant knock, bump or scratch turns into a major drama with skin peeling back, bruising and usually a decent amount of bleeding.
Even if the skin isn't damaged badly enough to make it bleed, the ugly blood blister takes a couple of weeks to go.
Probably the most frustrating issue many of us older people face with this problem is undertaking any outdoor or sporting activity. I have resorted to wearing thick arms length gloves and a hat when gardening outdoors and I am very cautious when playing golf.
Recently, I walked into some branches, but fortunately my hat saved me from major facial damage, even though it was scratched and bleeding profusely.
What originally caught my eye about this recently released skin cream line from New Zealand, was the fact that they said their skin creams could build collagen structure and enhance my skin's elasticity. So, for the past 8 weeks I have been trialing this active facial fluid twice a day on my face and the back of my hands, without missing a single day.
To make the trial measurable I did a pinch test of skin on my right hand - it took 40 seconds to return and for the slackness and wrinkle to completely disappear, two days ago I did the same test and it took 23 seconds for the same result.
About 10 days ago I knocked the back of my hand, which is nothing new! But, the skin didn't tear as I expected it would, and the resulting blood blister was smaller and only took just over a week to disappear.
Now, I don't know whether I'm kidding myself or not, but I'm very encouraged with what's happening to my skin. An added bonus is the sagging bags under my eyes have improved considerably, and I notice an improvement in my rather deep facial wrinkles.
Early next week I will receive some of this companies multi vitamins, which I plan to trial for 2 months. I will stop taking my simvastatin tablets, and see if these vitamins can help control my cholesterol level which they indicate they can do.
I don't know about you... but I think there are new options available to treating aging skin and other health issues these days. Keep an open mind on the capabilities of these new breakthrough ingredients now becoming available.
